🧅 The Tor Mirror
RaVarKon has a hidden-service mirror on the Tor network — same site, same account, no clearnet logs. If "the Tor link does not work" for you, it is almost always the browser, not the network. Here is the fix.
Why a normal browser says "does not work"
Onion addresses (.onion) are not real DNS names — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and your phone's browser cannot connect to them at all. Only the Tor network can resolve them. That is the whole point: your traffic is encrypted three times and nobody — not your ISP, not the site — sees your real IP.
How to open it (2 minutes)
- Download Tor Browser from the official site — torproject.org/download. Windows, macOS, Linux and Android are all supported.
- Install it like any app and start it. Press Connect on the splash screen.
- Paste our onion address (above) into the address bar and hit Enter.
- Sign in with your normal RaVarKon account — the mirror is the same site, same data, same friends, same chat.
iPhone tip: the Tor Project recommends the paid Orbot + Safari route or the Onion Browser app — both work.
Already using Tor Browser?
Then the fast path is automatic: when you browse the clearnet site inside Tor Browser, our server sends an Onion-Location header — a purple banner pops up asking "switch to the onion site". One click and you are on the mirror.
Prefer https on the onion? Both work — http://…onion and https://…onion are served (the https certificate is issued for ravarkon.com, so Tor Browser will show a hostname warning first; that warning is expected for every .onion and safe to bypass on our mirror).
What the mirror will not do
WebRTC calls (voice/video) can leak your real IP to the person you call — that is how peer-to-peer calling works on every site. If you need calls while masked, disable WebRTC in Tor Browser (it is blocked there by default anyway) or stay in chat instead. Everything else — feed, walls, pages, groups, chat, drive, notes — behaves identically over the mirror.
